Colgate® Duraphat® 5000 ppm fluoride toothpaste is designed for the prevention of coronal and root caries in adults over 16 years of age at high risk of caries. Clinical studies show that higher concentrations of fluoride in toothpaste formulations, compared with conventional toothpaste, provide greater anti-caries benefits, with increasing efficacy up to 5000 ppm fluoride. It offers greater, clinically proven prevention of caries by stopping and reversing primary root caries and incipient carious lesions: Controls the progression of root caries, resulting in 3 times greater arrest of root caries. Provides 2 times greater remineralisation of primary root caries compared to conventional fluoride toothpaste. Remineralises fissures of incipient carious lesions. Increases fluoride concentration in saliva.
